Integrate Vserv to Game Maker Studio with AppWrapper

Hi guys,
I’m going to introduce to you a new ad network for your app. The most exciting about this method is you only need to drag and drop and click some more times.

If you’re using Game Maker Studio, then you know that it’s almost impossible to have another ad network besides Microsoft Adpub Center. You can read my post here about how I tried to modify the XAP file to achieve that goal.

But recently, I’ve known a solution called AppWrapper from Vserv.mobi that allows you to integrate ad into your game, without coding.

The process is as easy as follow :

1.    Go to AppWrapper.org, and click Download Now

2.    The page will ask you to support your name, email and the URL address of your best Android App. You can add whatever link you want.

3.    After that, you can start downloading the file immediately.

4.    Open AppWrapper, you will need to register one Vserv account. However, you can login with your Facebook or Google account.

5.    The layout is very eye-pleasing. All you have to do is drag and drop the XAP file to this window.

Please note : AppWrapper supports Game Maker Studio perfectly, but have some troubles with Unity App

6.    After analyzing, AppWrapper displays all the available services that could be integrated into your XAP. Right now, there’re only 4 services in AppWrapper, which are :

a.    RTB Launch Ad : Ad displays when user opens your app.
b.    RTB Exit Ad : Ad displays at the end of your app.
c.    Bugsense : reports about the crash of your app
d.    Flurry : This service is available in Game Maker Studio.

7.    Click “Done” when you’re satisfied with your choice, in my example, I add only the RTB Launch Ad.

8.    You can modify the version of your app, then click Integrate

9.    Now, your app is ready for publishing.
Upload your app and start monetizing.

Note : For Android app, there’re more cool features waiting for you. But after integrating, the app is unsigned, AppWrapper also helps you to resign the app.

Another option for you, hope you enjoy this post.
